The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving massive earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers met for the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really happening.
